Below are several resources aiming to build community and unite survivors and allies. Most of these services are located in Missoula, MT, but some places also provide virtual community. We have also included both statewide and nationwide resources for both micro and macro community creating. So whether you're looking for in-person or virtual support, check out these community resources! Lambda Alliance at The University of Montana

Missoula Pride

The 4th annual Missoula Pride weekend will be happening from June 20-22, 2025 with several special events including drag shows, concerts, parades, and more!

Montana Two Spirit Society

Since 1996, they have been working to bring the two-spirit community together by focusing on health wellness and spiritual wellbeing by honoring the traditions and acceptance of indigenous histories. By practicing cultural expression and sharing educational awareness, they hope to create cultural connections and pave the way for two-spirit people to reclaim the place they have in their communities and cultures.

Outfield Alliance

About 15 years old, this LGBTQI group is open to University of Montana employees and graduate students and functions as a social group that meets a few times during each academic year.

The Branch Center

Located at the University of Montana, this is a space dedicated to promoting respectful and collaborative dialogue, programming, and resources to echo core values in Diversity. Featuring a common space along with offices for campus organizations to meet, this is a great place to access free supplies, build connections, and study. There is never a boring moment at the Branch Center, and always a smiling face to welcome you to the safe space.

Rainbow Coffee House

Rainbow Coffee House is a weekly drop-in group that meet son Thursday nights from 5:30-7:30pm for youth 7th-12th grade who identify as LGBTQIA+ or are a trusted ally. It is a non-denominational, apolitical organization that is hosted at Grade United Methodist Church in Billings, MT.

406 Pride

Independent, nonprofit organization serving Billings and eastern Montana to build diversity and fellowship that ensures LGBTQ+ people are embraced as full members of society at home, work, and throughout the community. They hold they the annual Billings Pride Festival and parade.

Lake County


Safe Harbor of Lake County

Safe Harbor provides several services free of charge for those who are seeking relief from violence in the Lake County area and on the Flathead Indian Reservation. They provide services to anyone in need regardless of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.

Their services include, safe house shelter, emergency shelter, 24-hour hotline, personal advocacy, resource referrals, emergency financial assistance, grocery and gas vouchers, and more.

Imperial Sovereign Court of the State of Montana

The Imperial Sovereign Court of the State of Montana (ISCSM) works to educate and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and Allied community while promoting social tolerance through the production and inaction of drag performances. The ISCSM works to eliminate the historical oppression of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) individuals through expansion of the boundaries of sex, gender, and sexual orientation by creating a safe and welcoming environment through the production of events which explore multiple gender expressions in a fun and educational atmosphere.
