Most emergency departments have Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) on staff and can provide examinations. If your community doesn't have an advertised sexual assault exam location, it is likely in the emergency room. Please go to the emergency room or call 9-1-1 if you are experiencing a medical emergency.
